- Wednesday, August 22 (First day of school) – 2:40PM to 5PM

- Tuesday, August 21 – Meet the Band Night
- Report Time – 5PM
- Event Starts – 6PM
- Attire – Summer Uniform (Same as Old Fashioned Days Parade)
- Approximate ending time – 8PM
- Friday, August 24 – Football Game Performance
- Location – Padua Franciscan High School, Parma (directions below)
(students are required to ride the bus to all performances) - Report Time – 4:15PM
(Band room will remain open for those who wish to remain after school) - Attire – Full uniform
(Please be prepared with Summer Uniforms. If and ONLY if, the weather is deemed to be too hot to safely wear our full uniforms, Mr. Wardeska in consultation with Principal Mrs. Wheeler may make the decision to wear Summer Uniforms.) - Kick-off – 7:00PM
- Approximate return time – 11:00PM
(Please remember that on return, students are required to change out of their uniforms, unload the trailer, and put away the items for which they are responsible.)

BRIEF BAND PARENTS MEETING – TUESDAY, AUGUST 21
There will be a brief band parents meeting on Tuesday, August 21 following the Meet the Band Night while students are packing up. The meeting will take place in the center seats of the home stands in the first few rows.
The agenda for the brief meeting will include the bands pending trip to the Grand National Championships in Indianapolis, Indiana in November. This information will include trip costs, timelines, dates and fundraising opportunities.
IMPORTANT COMMUNICATION INFORMATION!
It is important that communication regarding emergency absence information or any issue related to members of the band be communicated directly to a member of the band staff. Student issues (medical problems, attendance, etc.) are more appropriately addressed to the staff rather than parent volunteers.

Please note!
If a student is absent, and we do not have an absence form on file, we WILL call you at the beginning of rehearsal. We do this to ensure that you know that your child is absent. We have the safety of all of our members first and foremost in mind. Please help us, by communicating with us directly.
AFTER SCHOOL REHEARSAL REMINDERS
Students should remember a change of clothes, water bottles, sunscreen, appropriate shoes and socks, etc. for after school rehearsals. You safety and comfort is still a concern.
Parents should assist students by advising them of the anticipated weather conditions and assisting them in coming to rehearsal appropriately prepared for the demands which will be placed on them in a daily rehearsal environment.
